Thanks for :+fav:ing my "Hope Rising I".
It was taken exactly by catching direct sunlight...
If carefully used, this can give a great effects (as you can see there and on "Hope Rising II", :+fav:'ed by you also ;-)).

I didn't knew about this sensors damage, it is posible I think. For the first time, happy to be using Analog :D

"Lens hoods Stray sunlight hitting the surfaces of your lens will, at the very least, wash out portions of your picture and soften the image. Direct sunlight can also damage digital image sensors. Lens hoods protect your camera and images from sun damage, and they protect the lens from scratches. If you're a digital photographer, you'll also find it handy to have a hood for your LCD monitor so that you can see the image clearly in bright outdoor light."

I figured this may interest you, considering the first thing you did with your camera =p

Hi there!
I've read through:
Broken Little Girl
A Search Through the Years
An Oddly Tale

I think the 3rd piece was the most interesting, and I'm glad to see you playing so much with sound, structure, allusion, and metaphor. You lose a bit in the imagery, which in the two other pieces is your strength, but the content and form in "An Oddly Tale" is inventive and shows growth.

The main thing I can recommend is to keep playing around with structure and with sound. Also play with the content more. By that I mean the imagery, metaphors, etc. Also, watch your punctuation. I see potential in your work, and I think that if you just keep writing and trying to growth within your writing, you'll be doing great. :)

You should've gone to China, you know, 'cause I hear they give away babies like free iPods. You know, they pretty much just put them in those t-shirt guns and shoot them out at sporting events.

I like your work. I thought that your "rough" self-portrait looked nice! I'm pretty bad at drawing self-portraits and things like that. More into cartoon-style or anime, but I do enjoy photography. Keep up the great work!

There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for? What is worth dying for?

well let me just warn you, its a super intense movie and it can be creepy at times. There are always quite a few sexually innappropriate scenes..so if your parents are at all protective in that way...but i encourage you to see it..its a great film
